Tuesday, September 25, 2007Sketch #284: "Light Blonde" Usually any of my sketches that start out as light blonde end up considerably darker as a line here and a shading there, conspire to darken the overall hair color. This time, I managed to exert enough restraint in that area to stick with the original hue. Ted |

Wednesday, September 12, 2007Sketch #283 This sketch went thru a lot of erasing and re-drawing. Still plenty of room for improvement, but I think she's be best I've drawn in a while. Ted |

Friday, September 7, 2007Sketch #282 "My, what big eyes she has," is probably what Little Red Riding Hood would say about this sketch ... and she'd be right. They did turn out a little disproportionately large. Oh well, all the better to see us with :) Ted |

Friday, August 31, 2007Sketch #281 The pose is quite similar to that in the sketch I posted on August 23, but the head came out better level than tilted and that the eyes and nose are in better proportion to the face. Ted |

Friday, August 24, 2007Sketch #280 I like this sketch better than the one I posted Thursday as is usually the case with the later sketches I draw when I do several at relatively short intervals. Ted |

Thursday, August 23, 2007Sketch #279 I thought I was about due to post something other than the "staring straight at the camera" pose, so here she is :) Ted |

Tuesday, August 14, 2007Sketch #278 I was quite happy with sketch in general, but there were a few flaws that I felt compelled to correct on the computer (such as one iris being larger than the other, jaw line needing a nudge here and there, etc.). She's still not perfect, but I think she's the best I've drawn in a while. Ted |

Tuesday, August 7, 2007Sketch #277 After scanning this sketch into the computer, I did a few digital manipulations to give the impression of sunlight (and to minimize a few flaws). Ted |
